Welcome to the Lord's table.
If your child is in the second grade this year, they will be preparing to receive their First Holy Communion in May. Details about the retreat and other preparation essentials can be found on this page.
As parents, we are our child's first teachers, and it is a job we have for life.
While a majority of your child's preparation will happen during classes, an important part of our First Communion preparation program is done at home with your family using the First Eucharist and Beyond Family Activity Book. The book contains lessons that are completed at home before the First Communion Retreat.

Baptismal Certificates need to be turned-in to the office by the day of the retreat. We would sincerely appreciate your help in attaining all Certificates as soon as possible. If your child was Baptized at Holy Cross, please let us know - your Baptismal Certificate should already be on file.
First Communion Mass
This year, due to the size of the First communion class, all Candidates will receive First Communion on Sunday, April 15, 2018.
Children will be sitting at the ends of the center aisles with their families sharing the row with them. Please note that the center pews seat approximately 6 people comfortably. Line-up order and seating assignments will be made during First Communion practice dates. Practices will be held during the weeks before First Communion.
You can listen to, and download "Jesus Loves Me" using the links below. Please note the first 5 to 6 seconds of the song will be silent.
